RIP - Joey Bishop and The Rat Pack

Yesterday they announced that Joey Bishop, the last surviving member of the Rat Pack, died at 89. I was lucky enough to meet him a couple of times since he was my neighbor. He had some incredible stories. A couple of the stories that he told me include how he gave Regis Philbin his start as an announcer on his late night talk show and how he was the one that introduced Sammy Davis Jr to Sinatra. It is a sad day but he is in a much better place now reconnected with his wife.
